Back in SLO

I’m back in SLO now for my final year at Cal Poly.  It’s been a fun time here and an awesome college experience.  This being my final year I want to make the most of it.  Hopefully my workload shouldn’t be as bad as it’s been in previous years.  I’d like to try to go to the beach more this year.

It’s a little scary to think about the fact that my life as a student is almost over.  After this it’s gonna be work for the rest of my life, unless the Lord calls me to ministry.  Just thinking about doing something for the next 40-50 years of my life is a little intimidating.

    A,

When you talk about the call to ministry, are you saying this just in case or in a way that it has been tugging at your heart?

I think it’s more of in case the “working world” doesn’t work out due to the poor state of the economy.

Yup, it is scary to think I’ll be doing this for the next 40-50 years. That’s why I’m hoping to retire by the time I’m 35. Not on track to do that, but it’s still the plan 🙂
